Hal Campbell

is a US citizen and co-founder and President of Peace Power and Light.  He served as President & CEO of ACS Technologies, a church management software company, for 29 years. Under Hal's leadership the company grew from 2 employees and a few clients to the largest company in it's market now serving nearly 50,000 churches with over 300 employees.

Hal was named the South Carolina Small Business Persons of the Year in 2002 and was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program for the years of 2002, 2003 & 2004.  He was named 2004 Business Person of the Year by the Greater Florence, SC Chamber of Commerce. Hal received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion University in 1979.

Hal and his wife Melaine have two daughters, Maggie (22) and Abby (18). They are active members at First Presbyterian Church in Florence, SC where he has previously served as a Deacon, Elder, chaired the Evangelism and Administrative Committees, and served on the Congregational Life and Missions Committees. 

Caleb King

is a US citizen and Co-founder of Peace Power and Light. He has served as the Director of Shyira Hospital since 2003. He and his wife Louise King, who is also a physician, came to Shyira at the request of the local Anglican church to rebuild the hospital which was founded in 1931. The hospital had been devastated and closed after the war and genocide of 1994. Caleb and Louise both graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and Harvard Medical School and continued their postgraduate training in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, respectively, at Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Caleb studied Economic Development at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and earned Master’s degrees in Technology and Policy and Civil Engineering at MIT and a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT as part of the NIH Medical Scientist Training Program.
